We attended the event on behalf of MCS to stay informed about the latest developments in critical communication.<\/p>\r\n<p>Conference sessions, demonstrations, and networking opportunities provided us with clear insights into the future of business- and mission-critical networks. Which developments will make a difference for organizations with vital networks? Discover them in this blog post about our visit to CCW2025.<\/p>\r\n<h2>The rise of mission-critical 5G\/LTE is accelerating<\/h2>\r\n<p>It was crystal clear: the transition to broadband technologies for critical communications is no longer a pipe dream. But a reality that is accelerating.<\/p>\r\n<p>At the trade show, 5G and LTE solutions were everywhere, harnessing the full potential of these technologies. And these go far beyond traditional voice communication. Think real-time video footage during incidents, live data from sensors, and smart dashboards for emergency services or utilities.<\/p>\r\n<h2>Emphasis on hybrid networks<\/h2>\r\n<p>What particularly struck us is that more and more parties are opting for a hybrid approach. They combine the robustness of TETRA with the high capacity of LTE\/5G. This creates a network suitable for both mission-critical voice and data-intensive applications.<\/p>\r\n<p>The technology is here. Now it&#039;s up to organizations to make strategic choices.<\/p>\r\n<h2>Cybersecurity as a fundamental basis of technology and policy<\/h2>\r\n<p>With the increasing digitalization and interconnectivity of critical networks,\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/www.mcs-nl.com\/blog\/nis2-veelgestelde-vragen\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">cybersecurity such as NIS2<\/a>\u00a0An important topic. It&#039;s no longer a &quot;nice-to-have.&quot; It&#039;s the fundamental basis for every new implementation or upgrade.<\/p>\r\n<p>Vendors at the show showcased solutions with end-to-end encryption, AI-driven anomaly detection, and strong authentication.<\/p>\r\n<h2>Training and awareness for resilient critical communication<\/h2>\r\n<p>But technology isn&#039;t enough. User awareness and training are just as important to minimize the risk of cyberattacks.<\/p>\r\n<p>The message at CCW2025 was clear: resilient critical communication is impossible to achieve without a comprehensive cybersecurity strategy. The threat is real, and the sector takes this responsibility very seriously.<\/p>\r\n<h2>Better collaboration for better preparation<\/h2>\r\n<p>Perhaps the most inspiring aspect of CCW2025 was the focus on interoperability. In other words: systems that can communicate with each other, even across organizations and national borders. Because disasters or major incidents are rarely confined to a single organization or region.<\/p>\r\n<h2>Building bridges between systems outside your own chain<\/h2>\r\n<p>The trade show featured demonstrations of platforms that seamlessly integrate communication between police, fire, and ambulance services for effective collaboration. International collaboration was also high on the agenda.<\/p>\r\n<p>The conclusion?
