Parker Chomerics breaks this mold with CHO-SEAL 1299: a conductive elastomeric gasket with a low hardness (45 Shore A) that still offers excellent shielding and corrosion resistance.<\/p>\r\n<p>The core of the innovation lies in its composition: passivated, silver-plated aluminum particles in a fluorosilicone binder. This makes the gasket not only effective against electromagnetic interference but also resistant to aggressive chemicals and corrosion on aluminum. Thanks to its low durometer, CHO-SEAL 1299 can be used in sensitive interfaces where traditional gaskets require too much force during installation and could damage the housing or components.<\/p>\r\n<p>The CHO-SEAL 1299 is available in pre-formed molded sizes such as O-rings and custom shapes, as well as sheet material ideal for precision cutting via die cutting, knife cutting, or water jet cutting. The material can optionally be coated with an electrically conductive PSA adhesive, making installation simple and reliable.<\/p>\r\n<p>This unique combination of softness, shielding, and durability makes the CHO-SEAL 1299 ideal for portable electronics, military communication modules, UAVs such as drones, robotics, and maritime electronics.
