The development of embedded electronics is becoming increasingly complex. Hardware and software are becoming more intertwined, systems are becoming smarter, and AI is playing a greater role in both the design and operation of industrial applications. At the same time, the demands on reliability, safety, and time to market<\/em> During the Design Automation & Embedded Systems event (D&E) on April 14, 2026, in Den Bosch, specialists will share their knowledge about designing, testing, and optimizing modern embedded systems and the role of AI within this process.<\/strong><\/p>\n

D&E 2026 is the largest event in the Benelux for professionals working in industrial electronics. The core of the event is the content-driven program. In short, interactive 25-minute sessions, experts will address current topics in embedded hardware, software, and engineering. These include design choices for compact and energy-efficient systems, testing and verifying designs, certification issues, and the role of new development methodologies. Applications of AI in embedded systems and design automation will also be discussed, always from a practical and technical perspective.<\/p>\n

Keynote: Control room of the future
\n<\/strong>Erno Hartsuiker of the Dutch Police explains how the emergency dispatch center transformed from a reactive environment to an active, data-driven control room in less than twenty years. He demonstrates how technologies like AI, sensing <\/em>and image direction contribute to better decision-making in critical situations.\u00a0<\/strong><\/p>\n
