Below you will find a summary of the most important changes:<\/p>\n<p>Updates to existing articles<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Art. 2.5 \u2013 Transitional compensation<br \/>\nThe maximum amount of the transition payment has been adjusted to the current legal standard.<\/li>\n<li>Art. 5.5.2 \u2013 Maximum daily wage<br \/>\nAdded: As of January 1, 2026, the maximum daily wage will be \u20ac304.25.<\/li>\n<li>Art. 5.5.4 \u2013 Short-term and long-term care leave<br \/>\nAdded: As of January 1, 2026, the minimum hourly wage will be \u20ac14.71.<\/li>\n<li>Art. 8.2 \u2013 Business travel expenses<br \/>\nAdded: As of January 1, 2026, the maximum tax-exempt travel expense allowance will be \u20ac0.23 per kilometer.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>New articles and extensions<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Art. 4.3.3.7 \u2013 Home work allowance<br \/>\nA new article has been added which includes the home work allowance.<\/li>\n<li>Art. 11.6 \u2013 Wage transparency (preparation for January 1, 2027)<br \/>\nIn view of the implementation of the European Wage Transparency Directive as of 1 January 2027, a new paragraph has been added, including further explanation.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>The most recent update of the RAO was compiled by the HRM group within FHI, in collaboration with FHI partner Vestius Advocaten. This ensures you have up-to-date knowledge of employment law and practical application in the technology industry.<\/p>\n<p>As an FHI member, you can adopt or adapt texts from the RAO for internal regulations within your company.
