The \u00d3buda University Racing Team (OUR Team) is the Formula Student team of \u00d3buda University, made up of university students who have been designing and building their own race car since the team\u2019s reformation in 2022. The team\u2019s work is characterized by engineering precision, hands-on experience, and strong collaboration both within the university and with industrial partners such as Eurocircuits, who support the project as sponsors and technology partners. This season, OUR Team participated in two international competitions, achieving great results and gaining valuable experience.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-kadence-spacer aligncenter kt-block-spacer-32815_af3a71-9b\"><div class=\"kt-block-spacer kt-block-spacer-halign-center\"><\/div><\/div>\n\n\n\n<h4 class=\"kt-adv-heading32815_60ae11-49 wp-block-kadence-advancedheading\" data-kb-block=\"kb-adv-heading32815_60ae11-49\">Successful Debut in Austria:<\/h4>\n\n\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-kadence-spacer aligncenter kt-block-spacer-32815_9ef450-00\"><div class=\"kt-block-spacer kt-block-spacer-halign-center\"><\/div><\/div>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-kadence-image kb-image32815_e799d2-a8 size-medium_large\"><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-kadence-spacer aligncenter kt-block-spacer-32815_6872f5-6a\"><div class=\"kt-block-spacer kt-block-spacer-halign-center\"><\/div><\/div>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"kt-adv-heading32815_f6c71a-42 wp-block-kadence-advancedheading\" data-kb-block=\"kb-adv-heading32815_f6c71a-42\">This year marked the team\u2019s first appearance at Formula Student Austria, and the opening day was full of excitement.<br>After setting up the pit area, the team began the technical inspection, where our drivers easily passed the driver egress test.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-kadence-spacer aligncenter kt-block-spacer-32815_a1db56-54\"><div class=\"kt-block-spacer kt-block-spacer-halign-center\"><\/div><\/div>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-kadence-image kb-image32815_51c71e-cd size-medium_large\"><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-kadence-spacer aligncenter kt-block-spacer-32815_969c6b-f2\"><div class=\"kt-block-spacer kt-block-spacer-halign-center\"><\/div><\/div>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"kt-adv-heading32815_eaf794-ff wp-block-kadence-advancedheading\" data-kb-block=\"kb-adv-heading32815_eaf794-ff\">We quickly progressed through the mechanical and safety checks, followed by the tilt, noise, and finally the brake test. After successfully completing all of these, Pelican, our race car, received full permission to enter the track.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-kadence-spacer aligncenter kt-block-spacer-32815_49a24e-fc\"><div class=\"kt-block-spacer kt-block-spacer-halign-center\"><\/div><\/div>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-kadence-image kb-image32815_d9158b-04\"><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-kadence-spacer aligncenter kt-block-spacer-32815_af8747-98\"><div class=\"kt-block-spacer kt-block-spacer-halign-center\"><\/div><\/div>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"kt-adv-heading32815_e4bd74-e4 wp-block-kadence-advancedheading\" data-kb-block=\"kb-adv-heading32815_e4bd74-e4\">The static events including the Business Plan Presentation, Cost Event, and Engineering Design were also important milestones during the week. Among the dynamic events, after the Acceleration and Skidpad, came the Autocross, where despite issues with the rear wing mounting, the team  anaged to perform well.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-kadence-spacer aligncenter kt-block-spacer-32815_70eb75-7f\"><div class=\"kt-block-spacer kt-block-spacer-halign-center\"><\/div><\/div>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"kt-adv-heading32815_6070cf-09 wp-block-kadence-advancedheading\" data-kb-block=\"kb-adv-heading32815_6070cf-09\">The highlight of the competition was Thursday\u2019s Endurance, our main goal for the season. Although Pelican started without wings, it managed to complete the entire 22 km distance \u2014 finishing the race for the first time in the team\u2019s history. This time, another driver took the wheel for the Acceleration and Skidpad events, while the team also presented an innovative business concept in the Business Plan Presentation.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-kadence-spacer aligncenter kt-block-spacer-32815_357570-e7\"><div class=\"kt-block-spacer kt-block-spacer-halign-center\"><\/div><\/div>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"kt-adv-heading32815_5e8543-52 wp-block-kadence-advancedheading\" data-kb-block=\"kb-adv-heading32815_5e8543-52\">The team was looking forward to the Endurance race with great anticipation. The first stint went smoothly, and after the driver change, Pelican returned to the track. However, at the beginning of the second stint, the race officials stopped the car due to a technical issue, and the team could not complete the race. The firstever completed Endurance run in Austria and the valuable experience gained at Formula Student Alpe Adria both confirmed that the team is steadily improving. Progress and international success are supported by partners such as Eurocircuits, who enable the students to work with industry standard technologies and gain real engineering experience. OUR Team\u2019s goal remains the same to return stronger each year, with a more innovative, reliable, and faster car, proudly representing \u00d3buda University in the Formula Student
