Central to this project is 3D photoacoustic mammography, a technique that allows blood vessels in the breast to be visualized without the pain often experienced with traditional mammography.<\/p>\r\n<p data-start=\"573\" data-end=\"1091\">The added value of this development lies not only in making imaging more patient-friendly, but also in improving the recognition of abnormalities. Because early tumor formation can be difficult to distinguish based on imaging alone, elastography is being added to the existing system within the project. By making subtle vibrations in the breast tissue visible, additional data is generated regarding differences between healthy and abnormal tissue.<\/p>\r\n<p data-start=\"1093\" data-end=\"1498\">This additional information can help radiologists better assess suspicious structures. At the same time, the project is working on AI technology to automatically learn to recognize patterns in those measurements. In doing so, this project demonstrates how electronics, medical knowledge, and data analysis come together in an application with clear societal relevance.<\/p>\r\n<p data-start=\"1500\" data-end=\"1906\">For Insyte Technology, this is a fine example of how technological development contributes to innovations that can make a real difference in practice. Moreover, the project underscores the importance of collaboration between technology partners, knowledge institutions, and medical specialists to bring complex issues step by step to a usable
