The smart meter was conceived by engineering firm EVAbits from Groningen and is only available during WoTS, from September 22 to 25 at Jaarbeurs Utrecht. <\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Traditionally, the gadget is one of the biggest crowd-pullers at WoTS. Interested parties collect the various parts at the stands of participating exhibitors. They then assemble the components themselves into a fully functional measuring instrument.<\/p>\n<p><strong>How does the EMI meter work?<br \/>\n<\/strong>For many developers, EMI measurement is an indispensable part of the design process. The gadget makes it possible to measure the strength of electromagnetic radiation that can disrupt electronic devices in an accessible way.<\/p>\n<p>The meter is compact, robust, and ready to use immediately. We calibrate the gadget to a specific standard. The EMI meter quickly provides a good indication of whether the calibrated standard is met.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Limited edition<br \/>\n<\/strong>The WoTS gadget is designed specifically for the trade fair every year and produced only once. For 2026, the production run is limited to 1,500 units.
