By actively participating, you not only expand your knowledge but also work towards a certificate and a small gift at the end of the route. What knowledge will you take home?<\/p>\n<h4>Working safely with hazardous substances in laboratories<strong><br \/>\n<\/strong><\/h4>\n<p>When it comes to safe and healthy working in a laboratory, we often think of handling hazardous substances. From correct storage and disposal of waste to the use of personal protective equipment and knowledge of laws and regulations, everything needs to be right. As an employer, what do I need to have arranged for employees, emergency response officers, and storage? Unintentional mistakes are sometimes made in this area, which can lead to undesirable and dangerous situations. In the Habeo+ Safety Officer training course, we lay a solid foundation to contribute to a safe work culture within your company regarding all the above-mentioned aspects and more.<\/p>\n<h4>From incubation to contamination \u2013 see what you don&#039;t see<strong><br \/>\n<\/strong><\/h4>\n<p>Microbiological safety starts sooner than you think and does not end at the safety cabinet. Small temperature deviations in incubators can have major consequences, such as unwanted growth or even the spread of pathogens outside controlled zones. The balance log has been checked, the tip racks are arranged, and the lab is sparkling clean. &quot;It\u2019s just a normal workday,&quot; says the team leader. But you still feel nervous.
