Insyde TapRUUT: A New Standard in Platform Security<\/h3>\n

As computing platforms grow more complex \u2014 spanning AI PCs, servers, and large-scale data centers \u2014 the need for a consistent, standards-aligned approach to platform security has become increasingly critical. What TapRUUT delivers<\/h4>\n

Our partner Insyde’s<\/a> TapRUUT is a Platform Root of Trust (PRoT) product family built to meet the requirements of NIST SP 800-193, the established standard for platform firmware resilience. It supports a broad range of processor architectures, including Intel, AMD, NVIDIA, and Arm-based platforms, allowing OEMs, ODMs, and hyperscale operators to apply a unified security model across diverse hardware configurations. Hardware support at launch includes PRoT implementations from ASPEED Technology, Infineon, Intel, and Microchip Technology \u2014 ensuring broad compatibility with commonly deployed server and data center silicon.<\/p>\n

At a functional level, TapRUUT provides secure firmware update and recovery mechanisms, cryptographic services including post-quantum cryptography on supported hardware, and device attestation with support for SPDM 1.1 and 1.2. It integrates directly with Insyde’s InsydeH2O UEFI BIOS and Supervyse OpenBMC firmware, forming a coherent security architecture from boot firmware through platform management. This end-to-end integration allows development teams to implement a consistent and verifiable security model across the full firmware stack.<\/p>\n

TapRUUT is not only designed for large-scale data centers (it equally applies to embedded and edge platforms). As firmware security requirements continue to evolve, a well-defined root of trust becomes essential for both product design and compliance.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div><\/div><\/div><\/div>
