At the World of Industry, Technology & Science (WoTS), the focus is not on individual products, but on solutions for concrete technical bottlenecks. That is exactly what the FEDA Lounge stands for. At this pavilion, FEDA members place drive technology in context: as an indispensable link in smart, efficient, and future-proof machines.<\/strong><\/p>\n

Visitors come with questions about energy consumption, reliability, data, and integration. In the FEDA Lounge, those questions are not answered with sales pitches, but with knowledge, experience, and practical examples.<\/p>\n

No abstract promises, but insight into where savings really arise, what the payback period is, and when replacement pays off \u2013 or not.<\/p>\n

Smart drives and usable data<\/h4>\n

Drives generate increasingly more data, but its value often remains untapped. In the FEDA Lounge, the central question is which data is actually relevant for maintenance and reliability. Condition-based monitoring, predictive maintenance, and practical dashboards are approached in a no-nonsense manner here.<\/p>\n

Reliability in times of staff shortages<\/h4>\n

With fewer technical staff and higher uptime demands, reliability becomes crucial. Visitors seek solutions that prevent downtime and make maintenance predictable. The FEDA Lounge highlights robust drive concepts, thermal protection, redundancy, and lifecycle thinking.

Precision, motion control and flexibility<\/h4>\n

More complex products and tighter tolerances require accurate and flexible motion control. In the FEDA Lounge, the focus is on servo drives, multi-axis synchronization, and software-based flexibility as an alternative to mechanical complexity.<\/p>\n

Visitors are provided with the tools to assess when advanced motion control is necessary \u2013 and when a standard drive suffices.<\/p>\n

Integration, safety and future-proof design<\/h4>\n

Drives do not function in isolation. Integration into complex OT landscapes, communication via standards such as Profinet, EtherCAT, and OPC UA, and rapid engineering are crucial for success. At the same time, safety and compliance play an increasingly important role, including STO functions and the proper application of PL and SIL.<\/p>\n
