This is even more important for decentralized drive technology, as the system components are located on and in the field and must withstand prevailing environmental conditions to reliably perform their tasks. Consider, for example, protection against dust or moisture.<br><br>It must also be intrinsically safe as a whole and comply with the standards and guidelines.<br>This applies to the inverter, but certainly also to the braking resistors, and Koch offers the suitable version for this with a high protection rating of up to IP66.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Depending on the type of controller and the application, there are variations in Ohmic resistance value, power class, impulse resistance, and thermal limits, but also in mechanical construction, mounting method, and connection.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Koch is, among others, a Siemens Product Partner, which guarantees quality as well as compatibility with the many versions of Sinamics controllers.
