The symposium is one of the most important European conferences in the field of electromagnetic compatibility and constitutes an essential networking and knowledge opportunity for professionals in the EMC sector.<\/p>\n<p>In addition to traditional EMC topics such as the EM environment, shielding, filtering, and grounding, the domain of EMC management is also receiving increasing attention, with a leading role for TEMPEST.<\/p>\n<p>As risk-based approaches and electromagnetic cybersecurity become more important, the conference also looks ahead to the challenges of critical systems in a world where electronics are ubiquitous.<\/p>\n<p>This year, there is also a strong focus on AI and machine learning in EMC, 5G\/6G, IoT, and wireless power transfer.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Symposium organization<\/strong><br \/>\nOur own Vice-Chairman Niek Moonen is, as Chairman, jointly responsible for the organization of this symposium.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Program<\/strong><br \/>\nThe program includes technical sessions, workshops, tutorials, and an exhibition.<\/p>\n<p>Two plenary speakers draw attention:<\/p>\n<p><strong>Zbynek Raida<\/strong> (Brno University of Technology) speaks about &#039;Can AI replace EMC measurements&#039;. In this in-depth presentation, the role of numerical simulation and neural classifiers in EMC certification is discussed.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Frank Leferink<\/strong> (University of Twente, THALES Netherlands, IEEE Fellow) delivers a keynote titled &#039;EMC, an important issue&#039;. In it, he draws lessons from the investigation into the much-discussed Stint accident.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Networks<\/strong><br \/>\nIn addition to the technical program, there is ample opportunity to network. The conference opens with a reception at the Prague Congress Centre and concludes with a gala dinner in the beautiful Smetana Hall. There is also a bowling evening for IEEE Young Professionals.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Gala sponsorship: will you participate?<\/strong><br \/>\nThe board of the <a href=\"https:\/\/fhi.nl\/en\/emc-esd\/\">EMC-ESD association<\/a> has recently decided to contribute \u20ac500 to the gala dinner during this event.
