The industry is increasingly facing cyber threats that affect not only data but also production processes and vital infrastructure. The recent attack by pro-Iranian hackers on American energy and water companies once again highlights how vulnerable operational technology (OT) can be. During the Industrial Cyber Security Event<\/a> (ICS), on October 29, 2026 at Congrescentrum 1931 in 's-Hertogenbosch, revolves entirely around the question of how to keep production environments safe without compromising continuity and innovation.<\/strong><\/p>\n

During the event, experts, end-users, and technology suppliers share their knowledge on current issues surrounding industrial cybersecurity. Topics such as vulnerability management, asset inventory, secure remote access, OT monitoring, and crisis management are covered in detail. We also take a critical look at new regulations, including NIS2 and the Cyber Resilience Act (CRA).<\/p>\n

The day is opened by Liesbeth Holterman<\/strong><\/a>, Director of Cyberveilig Nederland. She speaks about sovereignty and the growing need for organizations to maintain control over their digital infrastructure. Chris van 't Hof<\/strong><\/a>, ethical hacker and researcher at the Dutch Institute for Vulnerability Disclosure, discusses the risks of vulnerabilities in vital infrastructure. He focuses in particular on the potential consequences of cyber incidents for essential services such as energy.<\/p>\n

In addition to the lectures, the event features an exhibition floor with thirty-six exhibitors. Suppliers, system integrators, and cybersecurity specialists present their latest solutions for industrial environments here. The combination of lectures and personal meetings makes Industrial Cyber Security 2026 the ideal event for professionals responsible for the digital security of production processes in the industry.<\/p>\n
