With a <strong>overflow<\/strong> measuring points sometimes run completely underwater, and it is precisely then that classic level sensors give<strong> no reliable data<\/strong> more. Precisely at the moment when that data is needed most.<\/p>\r\n<p>The LevelRay from Teledyne ISCO is a <strong>contactless radar sensor<\/strong>, built for those situations. It never touches the water, ensuring that pollution or floating debris do not affect the measurement. What distinguishes the LevelRay from many other contactless sensors is that it does not switch off as soon as it is submerged. With the optional integrated pressure sensor and <strong>IP68 protection<\/strong> the device automatically switches to <strong>pressure measurement<\/strong> upon immersion, so that it continues to supply data, even when a sewer system becomes overloaded.<\/p>\r\n<p>The sensor communicates wirelessly. Via <strong>TIENet\u00ae<\/strong> he connects directly to Teledyne ISCO hardware, via <strong>Modbus RS485<\/strong> He also works with equipment from other manufacturers.
