How do we ensure that automated processes remain reliable? How are results validated? And how do we maintain control and traceability when more and more processes are automated?<\/p><p class=\"isSelectedEnd\">Technological innovation must therefore go hand in hand with <strong>quality, validation, safety and human expertise<\/strong>.<\/p><h2>Sustainability starts with equipment as well.<\/h2><p class=\"isSelectedEnd\">Sustainability in the laboratory goes beyond reducing plastic waste or saving energy. An important question is increasingly becoming:<\/p><p class=\"isSelectedEnd\"><strong>Is it necessary to purchase new equipment for every application?<\/strong><\/p><p class=\"isSelectedEnd\">High-quality second-hand laboratory equipment can be an excellent alternative.<\/p><p class=\"isSelectedEnd\">An HPLC system, centrifuge, microscope, PCR system, analytical balance, or other laboratory instruments can continue to deliver valuable performance for years after their initial use. When equipment is properly maintained, technically inspected, and presented with clear information regarding its condition and maintenance history, it can be given a second life in another laboratory.<\/p><p class=\"isSelectedEnd\">This extends the lifespan of equipment and prevents technically usable equipment from unnecessarily disappearing from the laboratory chain.<\/p><p class=\"isSelectedEnd\"><strong>A second life for laboratory equipment is not only economically interesting but also fits within a circular approach to laboratory technology.<\/strong><\/p><h2>Investing wisely in laboratory capacity<\/h2><p class=\"isSelectedEnd\">Laboratory equipment often represents a significant investment.
