On Wednesday, September 23, World of Laboratory will be entirely dedicated to Life Sciences. During this exhibition day, researchers, laboratory professionals, technology suppliers, and innovative companies will come together around current developments in personalized medicine, fermentation, and bioprinting. <\/strong><\/p>\n

The program shows how new technologies find their way from the laboratory to practical applications in healthcare and industry.<\/p>\n

One of the highlights is the seminar. Personalized Medicine in Practice: from Data to Decisions<\/em>. The central question here is how data, analysis, and technological innovations contribute to treatments that are increasingly tailored to the individual patient. The development of personalized medicine requires new laboratory techniques, smart data analysis, and collaboration between various disciplines.<\/p>\n

Biotechnological production processes also receive attention during the seminar. Fermentation in practice: from microorganism to end product<\/em>. Fermentation plays an important role in the production of medicines, ingredients, and sustainable alternatives to traditional raw materials. The session offers insight into the techniques and challenges involved in the development and scaling up of these processes.<\/p>\n

Another central theme is bioprinting. In the seminar Bioprinting: From Research to Clinical and Industrial Translation<\/em>, Presented by Wageningen University & Research, the latest developments within this field will be discussed. Bioprinting makes it possible to build living structures layer by layer and is seen as a promising technology for research, regenerative medicine, and future medical applications. The session focuses on the step from fundamental research to clinical and industrial application.<\/p>\n

In addition to the seminars, the exhibition floor offers ample opportunity to get acquainted with new technologies and innovative solutions. Visitors can participate in the X-peditions and engage in discussions with exhibitors active in the life sciences, laboratory technology, and biotechnology. As such, World of Laboratory serves not only as a place to gain knowledge but also to explore new collaborations.<\/p>\n

Life Sciences is a field in which developments follow one another rapidly. New analytical techniques, advanced laboratory equipment, and the growing role of data ensure continuous innovation. World of Laboratory brings these developments together in a practical program that aligns with the daily practice of researchers, laboratories, and technology companies.<\/p>\n

Visitors who want to know how fundamental research evolves into concrete applications in healthcare, diagnostics, and biotechnology will find a program full of up-to-date knowledge, practical examples, and meetings with professionals from the field on Wednesday, September 23. In doing so, Life Sciences forms one of the substantive pillars of World of Laboratory 2026.<\/p>\n
