At the same time, working safely with hydrogen requires specific attention. The gas is colorless and odorless, spreads rapidly, and a hydrogen flame is barely visible to the naked eye. Topics covered include the locations within a hydrogen process where leaks can occur, determining the position and number of detectors, and the question of when gas detection, leak detection, and flame detection complement each other.<\/p><p>Gas and flame detection specialist Peter Adema also discusses the role played by fixed and portable gas detection and what needs to happen after a detection.
