In these trainings we discuss the operation of both networks in depth. Both the underlying communication principles and the basic settings are discussed here.<span id=\"more-45156\"><\/span><\/p>\n<p>At Profibus we will of course also discuss the physical properties of the cable and which parameters influence its maximum length. In addition, the setting of a Profibus system and the associated network components will be discussed. To realize this, software from Siemens is used. The GSD files will also be integrated into this.<\/p>\n<p>At Profinet we use a completely different network base than at Profibus. That is why at Profinet we will also focus on Ethernet and the associated protocols. In addition, the basic operation of a managed switch will be discussed. We will also go into detail about the Produce \/ Consume principle and the structure of the Controller and the Devices.
