Transparency offers useful diagnostic functions, integrates components directly into the automation system and simplifies IT\/OT integration. The result is increased production efficiency and optimized business processes.<\/p>\n<p>The following topics will be discussed in this lecture:<\/p>\n<p><strong>1. Transparency down to the field level<\/strong><br \/>\nMeasurement values are immediately available for status information and assessment, for example to determine in advance what maintenance is required.
