Nico van Leeuwen, Business Developer at ROVC, is sounding the alarm. \u201cThe shortage of technical personnel will only increase in the coming years. We are only at the beginning of the problem.\u201d Since 2015, ROVC has published the\u00a0<em>Tech barometer<\/em>, a trend report that provides an overview of the technical labor market. The report is based on the input of more than 2,700 technicians, 1,000 companies and 1,000 potential lateral entrants. \u201cWe do not only want to be a trainer, but also think along with our customers. A changing labor market requires smart training. One of the most frequently mentioned causes of this shortage is a poor connection between education and the business community.
