Consider techniques like pyrolysis-GC\/MS for analyzing microplastics, which allows for the rapid and accurate mapping of complex samples. At the same time, sustainable analysis techniques are gaining ground. Methods like supercritical fluid chromatography demonstrate that high performance and reduced environmental impact go hand in hand. This aligns with a broader movement in which laboratories are considering not only measurement results but also how they are generated.<\/p>\n<p>Moreover, the boundaries of analysis are increasingly expanding beyond the traditional laboratory. Mobile analysis methods and compact measurement setups enable on-site measurements, for example, for water quality or environmental monitoring. This significantly reduces the time between sampling and results and enables rapid decision-making.
