This keynote will explore the technological landscape enabling the transition to zero\u2011emission trucks, highlighting evolving charging power levels, battery size and battery chemistry trends, and charging standards, including the Megawatt Charging System (MCS) and pantograph-based charging like (stationery) pantograph up\/down and Electric Road System (ERS or eHighways). The talk will outline the challenges and opportunities in the modular design of ultrafast truck charging stations and the potential of medium-voltage solid-state transformer-based charger architecture.
