Due to the enormous increase in mobile devices and e-mobility issues, there is a growing demand for an efficient way of storing energy, or use of all kinds and types of batteries. There are a large number of requirements that these batteries have to meet, partly also due to a number of security incidents. During this lecture the various test methods and associated safety requirements will be explained.
