Ultra low (mass) flow handling is a specialized matter where you have to deal with physics and technology. Bronkhorst achieved to develop miniature Coriolis mass flow sensors which enable very low flow accurate metering for all kind of processes, as precise as a weighing scale for flowing mass. Dealing with this ultra low flow requests a lot of knowledge. Aspects like gas entrapment in liquids, tube sizes and material, dead volume, evaporation, instrument treatment and mounting are to be considered. Next to measurement in these very low flow regions, Bronkhorst also offers control, using valves and pumps directly connected to the instruments, enabling liquid dosing systems with a high stability, accuracy and repeatability. Even complete solutions for high speed batch dosing have become available. E.g. for additives: dosing only a few mg within a few 100 msec. Bronkhorst will share information by giving a short presentation about this ultra low flow handling.
