A train diagnoses the condition of the track by driving over the track. This driving causes vidrabtion in the train and the track. Defects or defaults are also translated into vibrations in the train and the track. This project develops an onboard system which automatically monitors the vibrations of the train and the track and compares with the pattern in the normal condition. As a result, the system (faster and better) signals the start of defaults in the track.
