research and development
Water has, and is used in different qualities. Water is purified to a certain level of quality, dependable on the source and the intended application. Furthermore, nowadays the recovery of materials from residual water receives high attention. In order to run an optimal and efficient process, measurement and control systems are required. The sensors and measurement instruments, that continuously measure numerous crucial parameters online, form the base of these systems. This presentation highlights several Delft University of Technology sensor developments for water purification. The focus will be on the state of art technology, the scientific and technological challenges and application opportunities.
