PREMO medium voltage inductieve koppelingen (MICU 300A-S / LF / OH / W-LF) zijn ontwikkeld voor inbouw in smart grid implementaties, die verschillende niveaus van isolatie vereiden, in overhead medium voltage installaties (> 24 kV), of in low of medium voltage verdeelkasten (> 4.7kV). Deze compacte en gewichtloze oplossing is volledig compatibel met de PRIME PLC standaard en G3 populaire standaard, beheerd door de G3-PLC Alliance.
Deze familie van producten ondersteunt CENELEC band (Europa) en FCC (USA), die het gebruik van frequenties lager dan 500kHz voor smalbandige PLC mogelijk maakt.
PREMO inductieve koppelingen worden gemaakt met een hoge doorlaatbaarheid en hoogwaardige materialen die verzadigingsproblemen bij hoge stromen vermijden, waardoor lange leesafstanden tussen MV basistransformatoren mogelijk zijn. Dit helpt om de breedband te verhogen en de communicatie-efficiency te verbeteren: 12 ± 2 dB (@ 100-250kHz); 5 ± 2 dB (@ 250kHz-600kHz). Ze zijn te verkrijgen met diverse connectoren, waaronder BNC en IP67.
