Goals and benefits of the Open Industry 4.0 Alliance

The goal of the OI4 Alliance is the business acceleration through the implementation of existing Industry 4.0 standards and vertical & horizontal integration of data and processes.

The members of the OI4 Alliance are leading industrial companies that pragmatically participate in the implementation of cross-vendor Industry 4.0 solutions and services for manufacturing plants and automated warehouses. In industry and technology working groups, industry experts develop use cases and implement them technically based on the OI4 Reference Architecture. These solutions, along with implementation guidelines, are shared in the community and made available outside the Alliance.

The Open Industry 4.0 Alliance is a missing link to the market to bring relevant industry & technical standards through the real implementation projects to live (the How-To). The members serve end user markets to bring value to factories, plants, and warehouses. They benefit from proven interoperable Industry 4.0 solutions of the OI4 ecosystem.
