Intralogistics – Asset Onboarding, Condition Monitoring and Digital Twin Implementation

Warehouse availability is one of the biggest challenges and cost factors in intralogistics. Failures or a downtime are associated with high costs. The aim of the project is to determine health state of an engine which is a component in a device called One-Level-Shuttle (OLS).

By using the OI4 architecture and applying the OI4 Guidelines, the operator receives relevant real-time engine data provided by the supplier of the asset. The knowledge of the machine data and the technical information for the individual engines are on the side of the supplier.

The engine data will be analyzed, and anomalies will be detected. That will provide the end user with information on the current health state, and it can give a forecast when the engine needs to be checked.

The speaker will focus on the OI4 architecture for this project, its technical setup, and the advantages for end users to avoid proprietary interfaces and solutions.
