The foundry industry and the possibilities with fabrication technologies for semiconductors
Customers of TSMC focus on design and the functionality of applications. TSMC is a manufacturer of semiconductors and therefore will focus on the qualities in that area. In the first part of this presentation an introduction will be given to the foundry industry. How does the semiconductor industry work to give the best possibilities to chip-designers? In the second part focus will be given on the fabrication technologies. How does the technology of TSMC help their customers, which will help their end-user customers. Through this cooperation applications can be made smart.
