The first part will consist in a detailed explanation of the biological safety cabinets working principles and focus in their classification according to EN 12469:2000 European Standard and NSF/ANSI 49 American Standard. The second part analyzes the biological safety cabinet choice criteria in accordance to the risk analysis as well as the type of manipulated product.
