We will indicate the different integration methods for a Bluetooth interface (intelligent module, HCI module – with host stack, chip level integration – with host stack) and provide the specific
advantages/disadvantages of each integration method with respect to BOM, NRE and Time-to-market. A differentiation could be made to distinguish between integration of Bluetooth Classic and Bluetooth Low Energy into an Embedded System.
