Whilst UWB (Ultra Wideband) has been around for more than a century it’s use has so far been limited to niche applications. The new ultra-miniature UWB BLE combo module ISP1510 opens up new avenues for distance measurement and indoor location services and solves two of the main issues facing large scale adoption of the technology: size and ease of deployment. This presentation will describe the UWB technology and its applications in more detail.
