In modern design the susceptibility of a product to vibrations can be a major problem. Many designs are developed with the aid of finite element analyses to come to a rigid design that will last for the lifetime of the product. To validate such a model there is need for validation of the product by means of vibration testing. This lecture will give you some ideas on how to come to a successful test.
