Ultra-thin near field EMI Absorbers are used for EMI (electromagnetic interference) control in electronic devices such as tablets, desktops, medical and networking equipment, automotive apps, cabinets and more. Their functionality is to reduce EMI by effectively suppressing unwanted energy coupling, resonance or surface currents. These types of absorbers are used at higher frequencies than traditional shielding and in combination with other EMI shielding to increase the range.

Lex van Huuksloot van Telerex In his presentation, he discusses the question in detail: Smaller, warmer and higher in frequency: how do you limit EMI and heat?
