Cyber Resilience Act (CRA) Member Meeting

On Tuesday 13 May 2025, FHI is organising a members meeting on the Cyber Resilience Act (CRA). Two experts will come to Leusden especially for FHI members. In two interactive sessions, they will tell you what you can already do.

By the end of 2027, all products with digital elements must be designed and produced as inherently secure (so-called security-by-design). In addition, manufacturers and other parties in the supply chain have a duty of care, including offering support and security updates and a duty to report vulnerabilities and incidents.

  • Brenda van der Wal is responsible for the implementation of the CRA in the Netherlands at the Ministry of Economic Affairs. She talks about the CRA and the underlying idea from a government perspective from Europe.
  • Kevin Veldman, product manager cyber security and ethical hacker at KIWA. He supports companies with the implementation of security issues. Kevin explains how to specifically apply the CRA in the development of digital/electronic products.
