Defence Cluster Meeting

Technology plays an increasingly important role within Defence. Examples include digitalization, sensor technology, cybersecurity, and advanced production systems. At the same time, the need for collaboration with the Dutch business community is growing. Defence is actively seeking innovative technologies and partners that contribute to a future-proof armed forces.

There are clear opportunities here for technology companies. At the same time, collaborating with Defence requires insight into the landscape, the challenges, and the expectations.

Therefore, FHI is starting the Defense Cluster. During the kick-off on Wednesday afternoon, April 1st we bring together members from four sectors: Industrial Electronics, Industrial Automation, Building Automation, and Laboratory Technology.

During this first meeting, we will share knowledge, exchange experiences, and explore where FHI members can jointly contribute to technological solutions for Defence.

What can you expect?

During the meeting:

  • you gain insight into the focus areas and technological challenges of Defence
  • you will hear more about the Defence reservist programme
  • Experts share how collaborating with Defence works in practice
  • concise guide to relevant funding programs
  • we explore where FHI members can strengthen each other

When members wish to further develop a product or technology together for Defence, FHI supports that collaboration. We connect members and help explore opportunities further.
