Advocacy

FHI represents the interests of its members with government bodies, political institutions, and various social groups. FHI is affiliated with the Dutch Association of Small and Medium-Sized Enterprises (MKB-Nederland) and works closely with the Confederation of Netherlands Industry and Employers (VNO-NCW).

In addition, the FHI office maintains direct contact with members of the House of Representatives, officials from ministries, other trade organizations and customers of member companies.

Many of the issues for which FHI promotes are supported by services for FHI members. FHI offers services to its members aimed at supporting the interests that the federation represents. This may, for example, include advice, training, lobbies or other forms of support that are relevant to the affiliated companies or organizations.
