Good preparation is more than half the battle!

EU legislation stipulates that laboratories such as the Netherlands Institute for Vectors, Invasive Plants and Plant Health (NIVIP) must have ISO17025 accreditation. This requires good support of the laboratory process by a LIMS (Laboratory Information Management System). The old LIMS did not sufficiently support the NIVIP work process and therefore had to be replaced.

Through good preparation, we succeeded together with our supplier to roll out the new LIMS as MVP within the NIVIP within a year after the award. The new LIMS offered comparable functionalities at go-live as the old system, whereby the functionalities are more widely available than before. Curious about how we tackled this?
