On Wednesday, October 1, Waldmann will organize two short ESD workshops of approximately 1.5 hours in the Waldmann Lightliner. The referee is Torsten Römer from the ESD Academy in Diersdorf. Torsten Röder is an EOQ / ISO 19011 accredited auditor. The number of participants is limited to 10 people per workshop,
Villingen-Schwenningen: Waldmann, a family business founded in 1928, has approximately 900 employees and operates in 12 subsidiaries worldwide. Waldmann has been a household name for many decades when it comes to high-quality lighting for machines and workplaces. High lighting quality, ergonomic perfection and optimum efficiency are decisive factors for LED lighting concepts for industrial workplaces.
3T; TEVISIO, TANEO and TAMETO
In almost all applications such as production, assembly, control, analysis, dental and laboratory, efficient and ergonomic lighting concepts are decisive for greater efficiency. Waldmann has developed a world of talent to create suitable lighting for every challenge, based on efficient LED technology. The latest LED technologies are integrated into the TANEO, TAMETO and TEVISIO luminaires. High lighting quality and maximum energy efficiency are in the foreground. All fixtures are infinitely dimmable, provide homogeneous, shadow- and glare-free light and are available in ESD versions. The maintenance-free LED fixtures have a lifespan of approximately 50,000 hours and they reduce energy consumption to approximately 60% compared to traditional workplace lighting
ESD
You see nothing, hear nothing, taste and feel nothing...
ESD (Electro Static Discharge) is one of the most underestimated problems in the electronics industry.
People feel ESD from 3500V, hear ESD from 4500V and see ESD from 5000V discharges from 100V can be fatal for your product. For example, getting up from an office chair creates an electrostatic charge of 1,500V - 18,000V, walking on carpet 1,500V - 35,000V and picking up a plastic bag from the table 1,200V - 20,000V.
Problems or complaints often only arise after a longer period of time and because the distances between components on printed circuit boards are often less than 25 nanometers! Identifying errors is a costly affair. Recent research in Germany shows that fewer than 20% of all companies active with ESDS components have adequately organized their working environment. An essential part of the ESD workplace is good lighting. The IPC-610A guideline specifies the minimum exposure and magnification factor. The DIN EN 61340-5-1:2008 standard states that all unnecessary insulators must be removed from the workplace. As a result, lighting fixtures at ESD workplaces may not be electrostatically charged anywhere. This applies in particular to magnifying lamps that are almost always used at a very short distance from the product.
The Waldmann Lightliner is in the Netherlands on Monday September 25 and Tuesday September 26, 2017.
In the Lightliner, our (LED) lighting solutions are within reach. Take a seat at one of our workplaces and test for yourself which luminaire exactly meets your requirements.
