We hereby invite you to the online lunch session of Thomas Handschin from Ametek (on behalf of Accelonix) on Tuesday, January 25, 2025 from 1:30 PM to 2:30 PMIn his presentation, Thomas will discuss “EMC testing applicable to EV charging stations”.

Description:
Join us for an insightful 45-minute session discussing the increasing integration of electric vehicles (EVs) into the market and their impact on electrical grid stability and quality. As EVs connect to the grid in large numbers, ensuring electromagnetic compatibility (EMC) becomes crucial. This webinar will explore key standards, including ECE R10 and IEC 61851, which set EMC requirements for off-board chargers, commonly known as charging stations. We'll cover essential topics such as legal EMC requirements, specific test limits, and general test setups for various charging modes. The session will also include a closer look at specialized test setups for assessing conducted EMC, providing attendees with a comprehensive understanding of best practices for EMC compliance in EV charging technology.
