High Density Interconnect technology sometimes seems to be the only solution as soon as one or two critical components appear in a design, but that does not mean the entire printed circuit board is automatically condemned to an HDI status. In this lecture, we demonstrate that standard technology suffices perfectly in many cases, and we examine this using a practical example.
