The Princess Máxima Center is the largest pediatric cancer center in Europe. This research hospital combines care and research. With all specialized knowledge centrally located, we work on treatments for childhood cancer, aiming for the highest quality of life. The high-throughput screening facility is one of the center's core facilities. Its goal is to enable laboratory automation from small-scale to large-scale experiments. Drug testing is a key part of our work, but we are also increasingly focusing on automating other experiments, such as cell and organoid culture. This increases the quality of experiments and makes them easy to scale up. I'd like to take you through our advanced equipment setup, our experience with this system, and some interesting practical examples.
