Building Proteins Smarter: Machine Learning Meets the Laboratory

Machine learning is transforming protein engineering. In this talk, I will introduce the Cradle platform and explain how it enables scientists to design better proteins faster using ML-driven approaches. Foundational to our platform is our in-house laboratory, purpose-built for validating our machine learning models. We have developed robust, automated, laboratory workflows to build and test many proteins very quickly. I will walk through how our lab is setup and share a few insights we think are important for building an ML-ready laboratory.
