In summary: research, collaboration with other hacker groups, dark web, entry, data collection, data hostage, negotiation, payment, customer service, technical support. How do you make it as difficult as possible for hackers to enter? How do you get alerted and ensure that your company functions normally again as quickly as possible?

Klaas Wijbenga – Weidmüller

Marcel Hulsen – Orange Cyberdefense

Klaas Wijbenga is Automation Specialist at Weidmüller and is an experienced no-nonsense consultant with a broad knowledge of industrial automation with more than 25 years of experience, who enjoys working as part of a team. Since 2013, he has been responsible for the Weidmüller automation portfolio in the Benelux region and in that capacity works closely with product development and fellow specialists.

Marcel Hulsen is an Enterprise Security Architect within Orange Cyberdefense with more than 30 years experience in the IT and OT market. Marcel has several certifications including TOGAF, CISSP, CSSP and is currently working on IEC-62443.Since August 2023 he is working as part of the Security Consulting and Security OT team in Orange Cyberdefense, providing input for architectural decisions for several customers, mostly related to NIS-2, CRA and the new Machine Regulation.
