More and more manufacturers are embracing the secure-by-design principle and claiming that their products meet specific security levels. But what exactly does this mean?
During this presentation we will discuss the different Security Levels (SLs) that the IEC 62443 standard defines to ensure the security of industrial automation and control systems (IACS). The standard also describes seven Foundational Requirements (FRs) that form the basis for the security levels of these products. But what exactly does this mean and what do you get out of it as an engineer?
