PAMAS Partikelmess- und Analysesysteme GmbH, opgericht in 1992, ontwikkelt, produceert, distribueert en onderhoudt deeltjestellers die contaminatiedeeltjes meten in een vloeistof (deeltjesaantal en deeltjesgrootte).

De zeer geavanceerde optische sensoren worden vervaardigd binnen de R & D afdeling op het hoofdkantoor in Rutesheim (D).

Deeltjesmetingstechnologie wordt gebruikt als reinheidsmeting van vloeistoffen en voor het identificeren van kwaliteitsgebreken en overmatige slijtage, waardoor men potentieel kostbare machinestoringen voorkomt. PAMAS-deeltjestellers meten de vervuiling van vloeistoffen door vaste deeltjes  en controleren de efficiëntie van filters en de vloeistofreinheid.

Deeltjes die met hoge snelheid en druk in de vloeistoffen van turbines, energiecentrales, versnellingsbakken en offshore-toepassingen circuleren, kunnen mechanische onderdelen van het systeem beschadigen. Deeltjes beïnvloeden zowel de kwaliteit van vloeistoffen (b.v. farmaceutische infuusvloeistoffen, drinkwater of proceswater), als ook de aangesloten componenten en machines (bijvoorbeeld in de lucht- en ruimtevaart en hydrauliek in het algemeen).

Founded in 1992, PAMAS develops, manufactures, distributes, services and maintains particle counters that measure particulate contamination in liquids.

The highly sophisticated optical sensors are manufactured within the Research and Development department at the company headquarter in Rutesheim, Germany.

Particle measuring technology is used to control cleanliness of liquids and to identify quality deficiencies and excessive wear in order to avoid eventual costly machine failures. PAMAS particle counters measure solid particulate contamination of liquids and control the efficiency of filters and the cleanliness of liquids.

Particles circulating at high speed and pressure in the liquids of turbines, power plants, gear boxes and offshore applications are capable of damaging mechanical parts of the system.  Particles affect both the quality of liquids (e.g. contaminants in pharmaceutical solutions, drinking water or process water), and also the connected components and machines (e.g. in aviation, aerospace and hydraulics in general).
