Bredere focus, nieuwe naam. Het Medische Elektronica Event groeit uit tot het Medische Technologie Event.

Waar eerder de nadruk lag op elektronica, staat nu de volledige ontwikkelketen van medische apparaten centraal: van concept en design tot productie, testen, certificering en gebruik. Het event is branche-overstijgend: naast Industriële Elektronica (IE) zijn ook Industriële Automatisering (IA) en Laboratorium Technologie (LT) betrokken. Zo ontstaat een platform waar kennis en expertise samenkomen en samenwerking tussen disciplines de ontwikkeling van medische technologie versterkt.
