Finding information is a major challenge for organisations and employees who juggle multiple communication tools and channels such as email, Slack, Teams, Confluence and Sharepoint. This can result in an estimated loss of time and productivity of almost an hour per day per employee. Claranet, experts in cloud-based digital transformation, has announced the launch of its new generative Artificial Intelligence (AI) offering, AI Seeker. This innovation empowers employees to ask questions and receive relevant answers almost instantly, making it easier to find information across the organisation.

AI Seeker solves the challenge by using Large Language Models (LLM) coupled with a Retrieval Augmented Generation (RAG) strategy to optimally manipulate and understand text. It uses intelligent models to understand and process text efficiently.

The solution organizes and classifies business documents in a specific database, allowing artificial intelligence to focus on content that is relevant to the business. Using modern matching technology, AI Seeker matches user searches to the most relevant documents, analyzing and understanding the meaning of words and sentences. Finally, the solution uses intelligent models to create and deliver clear and accurate answers based on the most relevant documents.

Following an initial in-house Proof of Concept to test and evaluate productivity gains in document search, Claranet is now working with its customers on new applications in a wide range of areas:

  • Insurance companies: customer assistant to obtain information about the coverage of their insurance contract. This allows customers or partners to receive personalized answers about their insurance coverage or contract based on reference documents.
  • Notarial and legal sector: assistance in finding information specific to a case and contextualizing the answer by merging different legal and administrative documents.
  • E-commerce: an interactive FAQ for use by customers and employees. The answers are placed in the context of the user and dynamically adapted as the documentation is supplemented.
  • Engineering and consulting: capitalize on previous answers to construct even more relevant answers.

Key features of the solution:

  • Multi-source connectivity: The solution connects seamlessly to various sources and tools, thus ensuring seamless integration into the existing ecosystem.
  • Multilingual compatibility: The solution supports documents in different languages, allowing efficient information retrieval by international companies. Answers can also be customized to the user's local language.
  • Integration with various in-house tools: AI Seeker integrates with tools like Slack, Teams or has its own conversational interface, allowing for centralized and simplified information retrieval.
  • Continuous learning: The tool relies on user feedback to improve information feedback and the relevance of answers.

Claranet is now helping its customers implement this solution in their own environment. This use case is the starting point for a simpler application of AI in a personalized context.
