coaxiale tandwielkast holle asSeveral machine builders recently contacted Apex Dynamics with a very specific request. They needed a coaxial reducer with a hollow shaft for more compact installation. This combination is used, for example, in conveyor belt drives. Apex Dynamics developed a shrink disk that can be installed on both AD and PD series reducers. This further expands the application range of these series. By developing this attachment, we can now supply a coaxial reducer with a hollow shaft to machine builders.

The combination of a coaxial reducer with a hollow shaft makes it possible to build agitators, antenna systems, and conveyor belts more compactly and use fewer components. This allows for the elimination of an additional bearing and the servo coupling. Faster running in this case means we're happy to collaborate with our customers to find the ideal solution.

coaxiale reductor met holle asCoaxial gear unit: AD and PD series

The series AD and PD They are characterized by a standardized ISO 9409 output flange, a very compact design, high torsional stiffness, and the ability to absorb high radial and axial forces. The AD type has a stainless steel housing and output flange and helical gearing. The PD type is made of steel/aluminum and has straight gearing. The AD type can also be supplied entirely in stainless steel.

Depending on the size, the gearboxes can accommodate a shaft of 13, 14, 18, 22, 32, 40, 50, 55, or 60 mm, respectively. Both gearbox models are available in a wide range of ratios: 3, 4, 5, 7, 10, 15, 16, 20, 21, 25, 30, 31, 35, 40, 50, 61, 70, 91, and 100. They are also available in both straight and right-angled configurations and fit any servo or stepper motor.
